@sunshine_arttt: Plzzzz, I wanna see the result 😢 App: ArtWorkout #art #drawing #guccimorty #verity #digitalart Gucci Morty is an ironic internet meme that appeared in August 2026. Unlike many other memes, it's not an official frame from the animated series "Rick and Morty" — it's a fan-made edit showing Morty Smith in a "fashionable" look. 🎨 What exactly is shown In the image, Morty looks unusually stylish: short hair, a black Gucci T-shirt, and slim jeans. His expression is relaxed and indifferent, which sharply contrasts with his usual persona as an ever-anxious and clumsy teenager. 📈 Origin story The meme first appeared on TikTok on July 24, 2026. However, it gained massive popularity after being reposted on Instagram on August 16, 2026. The post got over 100,000 likes in just eight days and quickly spread to X (Twitter) and TikTok. 🎵 Music The meme is strongly associated with a snippet of the song "Lot of Me" by rapper Lil Tecca. The edits use the line "I can see you wanna vibe with me," which became the unofficial "anthem" of Gucci Morty. 😂 Why it's funny All the humor is built on absurd contrast. Morty is a character who constantly suffers, is scared, and is depressed. Putting him in the image of a "confident fashion guy" is as ridiculous as it is funny. In the comments, people joke that Gucci Morty has "infinite aura" — an internet term for coolness and composure. 🌐 How it's used The meme has become a contextual joke. People add Gucci Morty anywhere just for the absurdity: they make cosplays, draw fan art, create AI videos, and some even draw him on school biology tests. There's also a version of the meme where Gucci Morty is shown against an airport background in the style of "Family Guy" jokes. 💰 Even a cryptocurrency On the wave of hype, a meme coin called MORTY was launched on the Solana network, tied to this character. It's positioned as part of "brainrot" culture (content that "rots your brain" with its meaninglessness).
