@neurosyq_: Therapy can help heal trauma from bullying. I'm sharing my story to encourage others to seek support. #fyp #damilola #damilolataylor #bbc #nigeriantiktok
I don’t think I can watch it. I remember hearing about it, I was 7 when it happened and I was beyond shocked and couldn’t wrap my young mind around it. I think for most of us that grew up in London during the early/mid 2000’s we ALL remember it and we were all horrified but what’s worse is that it serves as a brutal and traumatic reminder of what became the start of a series of events that unfolded throughout those years in London with gang culture, gang violence and crime, post code wars etc. it was brutal and London was in CHAOS. It was a scary time to be young and growing up in London. I saw things no young person should see, heard, witnessed and was targeted too - that time gives me PTSD honestly. Rest beautifully Damilola, we can and will never forget. 🥺

very strange doc .no mention that those feral kids were in care after father disappeared and rise by single mother.Thats breeding lack of compassion and low self worth for others. No mention of the racism that society teaches carribean to hate Africans

there are alot of trauma. the bullying and trauma of Africans in countries across Europe and USA is real.
this is why I laugh at some ignorant people who hate nigeria and Nigerians. People do not really understand how much nigeria, afrobeats, afrobeats movement and nigeria influence, internet and cultural domination has played a powerful role in changing the image of Africa and Africans globally.

Therapy did nothing for me. The Jamaican sisters who attended Sir Francis Drake Primary School in SQ almost killed me. To think one of them is in the public eye hurts my soul DEEPLY, acting like she and her evil sisters did not make an attempt on my life, all because I am a Nigerian. Therapy is not going to do shiit for me.

As a Nigerian being bullied in Dam for being African that was triggering, didn’t know African kids in the UK were going through the same bullying till I moved to the UK to experience it here too
