As someone with a tank of red dye diesel for our farm equipment…my husband is so irritated with Trump right now.

Besides the color, what differentiates red diesel from regular diesel? Why is it cheaper?

Won’t this increase the price of red dye diesel because of the increased demand?

Trump puppets cheer for the “solution” without considering who caused it. Also, they haven’t considered the economics behind that solution. In the end farmers will suffer.

Why is nobody worried about people who depend on kerosene aka red dye diesel to heat their homes with?

Does it hurt farmers who rely on this and now compete with everyone for supply? I see a lot of people claiming it doesn't because they buy ahead of time, but I cannot fathom how that's not simply a kick the can problem we see pop up later.

The only difference is the die. That way you know which one has been taxed and which one has not.

Won’t this hurt farmers more it will make the demand higher for the red fuel and then that will cause a shortage for farmers ?😏

Is red dye diesel the same as off road diesel? What is the difference between on and off road diesel?

Sir :
Particulate filters on diesel pickups are around $2k installed and you can count on replacing it at less than 150k miles.
The red dye will cause it to plug faster, an issue not faced with a John Deere tractor

How does using red dyed diesel help the root cause of the high fuel prices by opening up the Strait of Hormuz and stopping Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian energy infrastructure?

When I worked in the oil fields, yes we all ran red diesel in our trucks. we took the legal risks. But, I was also changing my fuel filter way more often

So. If I add that to my pickup truck. Now it’s in my tank and my understanding has been that it takes forever for that dye to dilute away…..

I’ve never used farm equipment, or used died diesel in commercial vehicles. Is there a way for law-enforcement to tell you are using died diesel at a glance? Like is the exhaust a different colour or thickness? Or is it simply a dip test to determine at a random stop.

Especially, when you switched back to the normal Diesel, warranty might be voided, just because you took the wrong one for some time. 😉
