Older people are no longer retiring in their 60’s, and are keeping the jobs that would normally become available as they retire. I suppose young people could join the military, but can the government afford to pay them?

Retirement age is up so those jobs don't become available, Companies are slimming down the workforce due to higher costs, Some are going bankrupt, others in some sectors are replacing humans with AI , It's ok training up the youth, but it's pointless if the jobs aren't there ....
