Millers Haunted Farm in Hammonton !!! I can’t say it’s the scariest, but you walk about 1 mile through the PITCH BLACK woods on a trail, the feeling is like someone is constantly about to sneak up on you, that itself is terrifying. If you are already scared of walking in the woods when it’s completely dark out with NO LIGHTS/FLASHLIGHTS, I highly recommend!!! I’m always terrified every year.

Pennhurst has good props and animatronics but hardly any scare actors. I go every year and it’s not scary anymore like it used to be years ago. Eastern State Penitentiary is good for the vibes. It’s like a Halloween fest plus haunted houses, I genuinely love that one and go every year, it’s such a good time. Nightmare at Gravity Hill this year was scary. They had so many jump scares, and for the price it’s good. Field of Terror isn’t as scary anymore, I feel like it’s more suited for younger kids and teens. I’ve heard of Brighton Asylum in Passaic but haven’t tried that yet.
