The question is why Americans who work 80 hours cannot afford basic living without another income ? Degree or not people are not making ends meet. Where is a study on the average 9-5 Americas and those who does receive more than 80 hours , why is it hard to matain the rising prices of everything? An average taco night is $40 where it use to be a cheap meal ? Gas has skyrocketed, clothes are more expensive.

Toledo has far too many slumlords on top of everything else. Costs going UP. WAGES ARE TOO LOW. Landlords think Toledo market rent is $1,000-$1,500 a month, even for apartments. ITS NOT. People can’t afford to rent or buy homes in their own neighborhoods because of private selling, the Toledo land bank is selling to private equity and big reality companies. This city is corrupt and we all know it.

My daughter Apt caused her to lose her section 8 due to them not telling her they did not pay her rent. By the time they let her know she could not appeal.

I rent a three bedroom house for almost $1,500 a month and my landlord keeps upping it to the point that I had to get a second job because he sold it into his family's LLC for more than the house was even worth. my front porch steps are rotted out same with the rear steps I've asked him to fix it and he keeps telling me to fix it there's mold growing in the house and he wants me to go ahead and clean it and take care of it I already have it keeps coming back and he doesn't want to address it but wants to keep raising the rent to the point that I now pay my rent in two portions so I can't even put my money in escrow to force him to fix the house
