@thenakidgardeners: How do you load a stubborn pig onto a trailer? 🐷 We're using food as motivation to get Miss Piggy loaded for freezer camp tomorrow. She's been sleeping under the trailer and digging ruts around it for days. Now let's see if she walks on willingly! #PigFarming #PastureRaisedPork #SmallFarm #FirstGenerationFarmer #FarmTok
You call it a wallow (?), I m wondering if a concrete pit can be built at ground level for food for the pigs, like 15 long and 9 inches deep?

I built a shoot a little wider than the pigs where they can't turn around. I built a little ramp out of dirt. And if It doesn't want to go in a trailer , I hit them with a hot stick right on their rump , and they jump right into the trailer no problem. my pigs wight around 350 to 400 pounds. it takes longer to pick one out then to load it .
