It’s shown in batches, if people aren’t engaging, then TikTok won’t distribute it. You’ll notice that your first lot of views stops around 70-80, and then there’s a little bit of a lag and then it jumps to the 250 to 300. If people have not stayed on the video for long enough or engaged, then it’s not going to be pushed out anymore.

I’ve been at this over two years with a large following and somedays I’m lucky to get to 300 views I’ve had quite a few viral videos however I soon learned realised if your videos aren’t being watched in full then they stop it it’s all about the watch time but unfortunately people now don’t have a good attention span 🥰

From what I have seen and read tictok just doesn't understand your audience. If it doesn't meet the first threshold it doesn't get pushed out further. A real pain. Try branding and use similar #’s. You have so many more followers than me so there is an audience for your content. I hope this helps a bit 🥰

I think engaging can help. I haven’t really had a breakthrough or anything. But engaging on the FYP usually directly helps with my views 💁🏻♀️

Views are only one part of the picture and I have posted about this. The people who like your work, are far more important in my opinion. As that number increases, TikTok seems to understand what your niche is, and starts to push your posts to an appropriate (in their opinion) viewing audience. If your Views are dropping it may be that the TikTok algorithm is confused and having trouble deciding who to push your material to. But, having said all that, even if your post helps one other person, then it is worthwhile and I think "Mission Accomplished". Don't give, keep contributing, we need people like you.

My advice for what it's worth. Don't use fyp as a hashtag. Use hashtags relatable to the product for example: Christmas, light, festive. No tiktokviral, No Viral, No fyp, No Trending. Product specific.
