Everywhere you look apartments are being built and from the very bones of them you can tell they aren’t being made safely. Highways cutting through prairies that will not be prairies unless they burn the way they were intended. Sink holes opening up on porous limestone land because Nestle and landowners work together to pump out fresh water at an unnatural rate. I’ve had so many people with different political views with intentions on working with me over the years but I always tell them the same thing- our environmental issues will continue to fall by the wayside as long as the people are having to fight for their civil rights. Nothing that has happened since I began writing that ten years ago has changed my mind.
