@thestylesreport: Rest in peace to the late, great Freddie Jackson. One of the defining voices of ’80s R&B, Freddie had numerous hits, including “Rock Me Tonight,” “Jam Tonight,” “Have You Ever Loved Somebody,” “Tasty Love,” and “You Are My Lady.” A true soul legend who will be missed.

DEVASTATED! GROWING UP IN NORTH CHICAGO, LUTHER AND FREDDIE WERE STAPLES IN MY HOUSEHOLD. IT’S ALWAYS GONNA BE THAT DEBATE ON WHO IS BETTER, I WILL LEAN MORE TOWARDS LUTHER, REST IN PEACE UNCLE FREDDY, YOU ARE WITH LUTHER NOW! Backyard barbecues going to the lakefront, everybody in a black community played Luther and Freddie Jackson
