This has to be one of my most frustrating seizures yet because it came completely out of nowhere. I had the most chilled, gentle day. I didn’t even get out of bed until 12:30pm. I had an early bath, focused on self-care, barely did any housework, didn’t cook, and gave my body every opportunity to rest. And still… this is how my evening ended. A full-on crash on the sofa, drifting in and out of sleep, completely wiped out. Emotionally and physically exhausted. Frustrated. Guilty. Angry. In pain. Wondering what the hell I could have done differently. This relapse has hit me harder than I can put into words. Some days, that light at the end of the tunnel feels like it’s getting dimmer and dimmer. But I’m still here. And I’m still fighting. I have an incredible amount of love and support around me, and on the days when I can’t find the strength myself, I’ll borrow it from the people who believe in me. That’s the reality of FND. It’s unpredictable. It’s dynamic. Just when you think you’ve figured out your triggers, your limits and what your body needs, FND can still find a way to sneak through the cracks. There isn’t always a logical explanation. There isn’t always something I could have done differently. And honestly? That is one of the hardest parts to accept. But I refuse to let one brutal evening define me. I’m exhausted. I’m hurting. I’m frustrated. But I’m not defeated. I’m still fighting. ❤️‍🩹 PS look at my pooches concern on her face #fnd #chronicillness #recoveryjourney #HealingJourney #emotions
