✨Back at this underrated ramen spot we love in Fortune Centre 🍜 Ramen Story by Jinggho Shokudo does Japanese-Singapore style ramen, bringing Japanese ramen techniques together with local flavours. They’re especially known for their mee pok-style ramen, made with Japanese flour for a thicker, bouncier texture — and you can choose between this or their regular ramen noodles. Ramen starts from just $8.90. This time we tried: 🍜 Black Gold King Ramen 黑金霸主拉面 the richest bowl we had, with a thick, savoury collagen-packed broth, chashu, pork belly, black fungus, wonton, seaweed, garden rocket, crystalline ice plant, ito togarashi and ramen egg. Super hearty and the portion is HUGE — honestly big enough to share. 🍗 Teriyaki Chicken Ramen from their new Teriyaki Fire menu. A dry-style ramen with smoky grilled teriyaki chicken and a flavourful sauce coating the noodles, finished with a ramen egg. A nice change from the usual soupy ramen. 🍣 Unagi Maki savoury grilled unagi rolled with rice, an easy one to share between the heavier dishes. 🍳 Aburi Cheese Tamagoyaki soft jiggly tamagoyaki topped with cheese and lightly torched, giving it that melty, smoky finish. There’s also free-flow marinated bean sprouts, which came in handy with all the rich flavours. The portions here are seriously generous, so come hungry. Small cosy space with limited seats on Level 4, but we always leave feeling very well fed. 📍Ramen Story 拉麵物語 by Jinggho Shokudo 190 Middle Rd, Fortune Centre, 04-27, S188979 #sgfoodie #sgfood #ramennoodles #japanesefood #japaneseramen
