I feel like the scales were already tipped in Dumi's favour. Akin had no chance.😭 Dumi was her first love and there was no love lost between them, bahlukaniswa isimo. So when she came back, all that love and fire was ignited. Then it slowly got worse when comfort and support did not come from Akin but came from Dumi( and Dumi seemed to be ALWAYS there). She was able to be vulnerable with Dumi more than Akin(but it's also a question if she would have been vulnerable with Akin if she got the support from him or it was easier with Dumi because she was in love with him). Now Khanyi was wrong for cheating, so wrong. And her marriage was over before the book thing,that book thing just gave her a "solid" reason to leave. It was an easier answer than just saying "I'm in love with someone else".
