I really don’t mean anything ill intended but just concerned; that baby is barely a new born , his feet at still developing and all that so I wouldn’t recommend putting shoes on him .

ALWAYS keep a hand behind the back up high. When strong enough, he will thrash and bend backwards and fall right out of your arms. It WILL happen. Almost happened to me. He will become stronger BEFORE you know it.
