@original.ramona: In furniture upholstery, double welt (or double cording) is two parallel rows of fabric-covered cord joined together. It’s used to cover staples, raw edges, and tacks while adding a clean, finished decorative detail to upholstered furniture. In this video, I made double welt using a 3 inch strip of fabric folded it in half over the first welt cord, and then snugged the second piece of welt cord next to it, and used the double welt foot to stitch down the middle.
