anyone else remember in 2008 cb was €166/month and they had a quarterly payment for children up to 6yrs at €275. nothing like it now and life is way more expensive

I rmember child benefit was 166euro a month per child and it got dropped to 140 during the recession and it still hasn't been increased since. . its ahocling

I tell wot they shud do for child benefit all under 12s get 160euroand over 12s get 285euro ..just like the clothing and footwear allowance....then scrap the clothing and footwear allowance and just give every child every year in July a double child benefit
