Can someone explain? As a Christian isn’t your relationship with God personal? Wouldn’t material things mean nothing? I’m I wrong thinking that it’s just a piece of metal with an engraved figure I would be stepping on. It would mean nothing. Especially if it means saving other people

unfortunately this is what Christians have to look forward to i believe thats why the removed the book of 2 maccabees from the bible Christians dont want to believe God can bring tribulation on them when in fact we should be taught that tribulation is for everyone and to stand firm in christ we should be strengthening ourselves ready to stand firm but I feel most will fall away because we want comfort more than christ

That movie was really good and this very thing was what I was sharing with a me of my family last night, that God is with us every step of our journey even in moments of failure and weakness. He's there teaching us to stand, resist, forgive, trust him and love despite the hate. it has taken me so many years to see how much he was with me and now I feel his love for me even deeper
