That's why I tell people to NEVER take advice from boomers about anything, life, relationships and ESPECIALLY money because it's extremely outdated and obsolete advice. They had everything easier and it simply dosen't apply now.

Has anyone under 30 years old seen how much the stock market has gained in the last 5 years??? Also house prices have gone up exponentially in the last7 years because of supply and demand, look at what houses cost 15 years ago because of the Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae crash. No houses were built between 2009, and 2025 because of this!!! Furthermore there is an epidemic of young people groaning about 40 hour workweeks, that never happened with boomers or Gen X

idk my dad grew up with nothing. left alone with his brother to fend for themselves with a can of beans for the weekend. gma didn't have her priorities straight. he had nothing. left at 16 to live on his own. he gave us everything. finally got to retire and died his first retirement day. he worked every single day. ever seen the outsiders? thats how my dad's life was.
