family carer mother and working father on just above minimum wage, doesn't qualify. 3 kids. no fuel allowance, no working family payment. not sure who exactly qualifies at all.

what bothers me tho is .. why are married couples at a disadvantage. I totally get there could be a dual income I get that, but there are couples out there together but not married and claiming single parent benefits so stating only one income is coming in! That really bothers me

work full time, wife part time/looking for work. applied if accepted would have been getting around 150 a week from it. they rejected it cause wife had open employments even tho for 3 months prior the amount that came in necer exceeded the limit
