Couldn't agree more. i literally just took on a "baby" witch as a student. He can't afford online classes and is so eager to learn. And he's drawn to mighty Hekate. He's run into so much BS. From so-called "veteran, experienced" witches. Mentorship is an important aspect of the Craft. I can handle just one student. It even helps me to refine my own knowledge after 33 years of practicing witchcraft. His questions challenge me to examine my own knowledge and practical experience. Thank you, Tamhra, for everything you do. For helping and sharing your insight and knowledge. It's important. 🫂🤍

I always say "use what you've got" and "read lots", if I have advice I can give, I'll give it, for example, one time, someone was asking on another tt post asking about how to make black salt, I told the person how I make it usually, and that I sometimes add crushed egg shells because, for me, it gives an extra boost of protection, no one else I know of does that, it was just something I felt called to do and I said as much to the person in question

I only just recently got into learning about the plants that grow around me, the ocean and its plants and what their purpose is. It is so amazing to understand the properties and their use and I think I will just go by my instinct and put my own twist on spells and jars 🖤 But I'm always appreciating guidance and knowledge

It really annoys me when people tell others “do your research” when someone asks a question because they are literally trying to do their research. It’s ok to not know how to answer a question but just be honest and say that. I’m not an expert on anything and I’m not a leader but I can usually help point someone in the right direction to find the answers that I can’t answer

I have only tested the waters, I keep getting distracted by EVERYTHING. I know a little about a lot. I love nature and animals. I have many tarot decks, and crystals. I want to heal, grow and be a better person. I have no clue which god or goddess is calling for me. I “talk” to Great Creator. I want to be able to protect my child, family, children, the elderly, Mother Earth and Animals. I realize I do possess some power because things I have thought about or focused on do happen (good things). I am drawn to death, transformation, the shadow of the soul. I would love any information, resources, classes you recommend. I truly believe in Do No Harm, because I know it can come back to me. Blessed be 🖤🌙

I’ve actually become jaded on helping others learn because I’ve taken on teaching a few people and found they often didn’t want to do the work. I hate the “do your research” crowd because that’s what I faced when looking for research material so I always try and offer at bare minimum books I enjoyed reading and found value in

The MOST IMPORTANT thing she said in this post to me....was that.. she may not know the answer... but she would try. Honesty is key. Because that reciprocal relationship an educator and student build learning about witchcraft is so valuable to both. And being able to TRUST one another....is priceless.

it's happened to me loads also been to shut up and learn if not don't do witch craft and that's the nicest one if I'm honest this is why I no longer ask anyone in witchcraft anything because how many times I got belittled and made to feel so stupid it's actually really sad I also joined a coven and got bullied so I left because it was more of a cliquey cult 😔 rather than a coven and now I aren't join one because no one yet has ever been welcoming or nice enough to make me feel I'd be comfortable to do so

Hello, I'm very new to witchcraft but I think that Hekate called me. At first, in my dream, my brother had adopted an unusually friendly black wolf (or dog, even in my dream I was unsure). The next day before falling asleep I had two flash visions in my third eye, one was a light figure standing in the doorway, the other one was a dark figure with creepy eyes staring with her head tilted. Then, I saw a dream where I was secretly practicing witchcraft and I was burning a bayleaf. I then grabbed some coal from the fireplace and cut it into 3 pieces first and then another 3. I then lifted my pillow and there were 2 books. On top there was "phycic witch" (the one I'm currently reading) and on the bottom was a green colored book with white letters that read "hail HEKATE". After walking up, I dedicated a candle to Hekate, gave her a bayleaf and burned some opium incese as an offering. That night before falling asleep I randomly smelled either mint or rosemary.The following days weird things kept happening. For example I had a dream about me finding my path within a 30 day obsticle course. Then another one where I was visualizing getting a dog (I've always been a cat person). Then I almost astral projected on accident and had to gather all my strength to prevent myself from losing control, and as if that wasn't enough I've also heard a man's voice going 《ha ha!》whilst I was exiting a meditative state. (No, I've never heard voices, I PROMISE I'm not schizophrenic and I take care of my mental health). I've been lighting up the dedicated candle every single day and I occasionally give Hekate offerings (rainwater, moonwater, basil, rosemary etc). Im confused,any help will be appreciated.
