Tum Dil Ki Dhadkan Mein is one of those early 2000s Bollywood songs that still sounds instantly familiar. Sung by Abhijeet Bhattacharya and Alka Yagnik, the romantic duet featured Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Shetty in Dhadkan, with music by the legendary Nadeem-Shravan duo and lyrics by Sameer. The song was part of a soundtrack packed with 90s-style Bollywood romance, including Dil Ne Yeh Kaha Hai Dil Se, Dulhe Ka Sehra and Na Na Karte Pyaar. Dhadkan was released in 2000 and starred Akshay Kumar, Shilpa Shetty, Suniel Shetty and Mahima Chaudhry. The film became a box office success, while its soundtrack became the second best-selling Hindi film album of 2000, behind Mohabbatein, with around 4.5 million units reportedly sold. Tum Dil Ki Dhadkan Mein was recorded in London in 2000, and Abhijeet went on to win the IIFA Award for Best Male Playback Singer for the song. More than 25 years later, this is still peak Bollywood romance. ********************************* ********************************* 🎬 Film: Dhadkan 🎶 Song: Tum Dil Ki Dhadkan Mein 📅 Year: 2000 👤 Actors: Akshay Kumar, Shilpa Shetty, Suniel Shetty & Mahima Chaudhry 🎤 Singers: Abhijeet Bhattacharya & Alka Yagnik 📣 Director: Dharmesh Darshan ✏️ Lyricist: Sameer 🎹 Music Composer: Nadeem-Shravan 💰 Music Label: Venus Records & Tapes 🇮🇳 Language: Hindi, Tamil, Marathi & Telugu 🍿 Watch: Netflix, Jio Hotstar, ZEE5 & Prime 🎧 Listen: Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music & JioSaavn 🌀 Genre: Bollywood, Romantic, Family, Drama, Musical, Action, Thriller #bollywoodhits #dhadkan #shilpashetty #sunilshetty #akshaykumar - @bollywood.chaii
