65% progressive tax isnt the same as a 65% flat tax

This is exactly the reason why we need to change the voting age to 25 because unless you’re out in the real world paying rent paying bills paying for food trying to survive in the last thing you would ever say is that you want 85% of what you make going to the government

Why would anyone go to medical school or start a business? The incentive for success would disappear

I’m all for taxing the extreme rich because most already are using loopholes to pay a much smaller percentage than normal individuals but doctors and surgeons?? 😭 you’re crazy if you want doctors and surgeons to get taxed heavier as if they didn’t have to go to 8 years of schooling after high school plus 5-7 years of residency while being in hundreds of thousands of debt.

Mind you, the left says that they are very pro science. Who did they think funds medical research, space programs, technology advancements, etc.? If you tax them out of existence, that funding ceases to exist as well

What would be the incentive then to bust your ass to succeed? They fail to understand that most rich people had to put a lot of work to get there. if you remove the incentive of money you will end up with a bunch of people working minimum wage, lack of ambition and a society that will start declining scientifically and technologicaly.

Bottom line, taxes should never tip the scale so you keep more money by earning less.

They don’t understand that if they want to tax more on the rich then no one would want to be rich. Including themselves. Working hard to build something for yourself and only taking home 150 a year. Really ??? You can’t even find houses for 150 no a days.
