As someone who worked at multiple different movie theaters for years, they genuinely donโt care. Maybe decades ago the workers cared, but 90% of movie theater workers today do not get paid enough to argue with you about bringing outside stuff. If your local one does have someone who cares, theyโre absolutely the odd one out and just being a hardass. I once saw someone when I worked at a theater bring in an entire Papa Johnโs pizza
