Don David :
For the Commander in Chief of the world's only superpower to name American cities and say "let them take out Los Angeles, let them take out San Diego" is unacceptable. Who knows, this speech might even amount to treason, or even a war crime, because it is the kind of talk that boosts the morale of our enemy, Iran.
This is not something that should be said even as a joke.
Turkey has been fighting the PKK terrorist organization for 50 years.
In these 50 years, no Turkish head of state has ever suggested that, let alone one or two cities, even a single pebble could be left to the mercy of terrorists; had they done so, they would have paid a very heavy price for it.
Does Trump not think about the consequences when he says these words?
Just as it would be wrong for the people of Los Angeles or San Diego to use the same logic and tell our enemy Iran "let them take out Donald Trump," it is equally wrong for the President to say such a thing.
Republicans:
Your loyalty is owed to your country, not your party.
California is America too; your silence is consent.
Don't you think America should be led by a true patriotic president, whether Republican or Democrat?
A head of state who never bows to the enemy, who is brave and determined, who knows the weight of his words, who thinks a thousand times before speaking once.
Democrats:
Don't just turn this into political ammunition; use your authority in Congress responsibly.
As the saying goes: "What is in a person's mind is what comes out of their mouth!"
