@black.love7716: RIP FREDDIE JACKSON 🕊️ This one hurts. 💔 Freddie Jackson had one of those voices that could make you stop what you were doing and really listen. From “You Are My Lady” to “Rock Me Tonight,” “Tasty Love” and “Have You Ever Loved Somebody,” his music became part of the soundtrack to so many of our lives, especially those beautiful R&B love songs we grew up on. He passed away on October 5, 2026, at 69, just days after his birthday. His family described him as a kind and generous soul who loved his fans, his family, his friends and his music. His cause of death has not been announced. That old-school R&B just hits different. And Freddie had a voice you simply cannot replace. Rest well, Freddie Jackson. 🕊️ Thank you for the memories, the love songs and the music that will keep playing for generations. Gone, but definitely not forgotten. ❤️ #FreddieJackson #RIPFreddieJackson #RBLegend

Peabo Bryson, Freddie Jackson, Luther Vandross, Barry White, Teddy Pendergrass, Gerald LeVert, Whitney Houston and Natalie Cole… These names are more than just legends to me. They are memories, emotions, and a part of my life. Their voices accompanied me through moments of love, happiness, loneliness and heartbreak. There were songs that said exactly what I was feeling when I couldn't find the words myself.

The passing of Freddie Jackson is another reminder that life is precious and none of us are here forever. No amount of money, fame, or success can change that. What truly remains is the legacy we leave behind and the lives we touch. Rest well, Mr. Jackson. You may be gone, but your voice and timeless music will continue to live on. My heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones, and the many fans who cherished his music.
