@chelsgrows: Say hello to the crop that’s made me the most money this season KALE!🥬 So many of you have asked “how do you make money farming?!” I sell A LOT of kale to food banks. Like hundreds of bundles of kale! Kale is a “cut & come again” crop which means it continues to grow from the crown (the middle), & as long as I harvest from the outer leaves, the more I cut, the more the crop comes again🌱these plants have been feeding my family, friends, & community since June & will continue to grow & feed us until NEXT spring. I can’t believe how big & gorgeous these plants are & delicious! People have told me “the best kale I’ve ever had” I grow 2 kale varieties -Dazzling blue: my personal fav it’s SWEET & the purple blue stems are gorgeous) -Lacinato aka “Dino kale”: prob the most commonly known/eaten variety. I have enough kale (plus more veg + herbs + flowers) to feed more people in the Sammamish Valley: Redmond, Woodinville, Bothell, Kirkland or anywhere in the surrounding King County area. I would love to invite you out to the farm & feed you & your family this fall & winter! Come to the farm, we’ll harvest your order together, you’ll pay for what you harvest, & that’s it! it’s the easy. We’ll have fun in the garden🌸 Comment, DM, or email me [email protected] so we can schedule you coming out to the farm. Excited to meet you! #farmtok #farming #farmgirl #kale #growyourownfood
