A sequel would not have been as good. As much as it hurts, the movie is perfect by itself.

Johnny Tampa Bay!! :
District 9 is an absolute masterpiece! Not many movies can claim to be a masterpiece but District 9 comfortably can stand on all 10 toes with confidence and say it’s a masterpiece!

Why are we so obsessed with sequels? Why can’t we just leave a story as it is? And the film is pretty conventional as it turns into an action film. Its ending was meh.

District 9 was supposed to be Halo originally. We got Elysium and Chappie, which are great on their own.

I know I’m in the minority on this, but I absolutely hated District 9. I think a lot of it is because of what I thought it was vs what it was in actuality. I get that people love the movie, but I don’t.
