School growing up in 70's and 80's, typical class was around 35 with larger ones at 40 and smaller at 30.

tattooed_aloha2erhc :

I remember class rooms having 29-31 per 1 teacher when I was growing up

Rick Brown :

The size of the class does matter. If you only had 5 students compared to 100 in a day. The 5 would be a lot “smarter” they more of your undivided time.

DominusDunedain :

I've had 38 students in one class at a time. I feel ya
