@pbsnews: President Donald Trump said on Monday that a threat linked to Iran was the reason the US withdrew its bombers from the Fairford airbase in the UK. A day earlier, the Pentagon rushed to move a dozen B-1 bombers back to the US. The long-range warplanes have been used to strike Iran. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Monday said it's "not unusual" to see such rotations of aircraft, while Vice President JD Vance said the U-S is being "extremely cautious.” Last week the British prime minister also said the UK believes that Iran "played a part" in a security incident at the air-base last month. Tehran has denied any involvement. #donaldtrump #trump #iran #military #fairford #unitedkingdom #pentagon #warplane #rubio #marcorubio #jdvance #vance #britain #pbs #news #pbsnews #pbsnewshour
