I think the €12,000 per year is primed for people with money sitting in accounts. I’ll certainly be taking advantage.

Dave's Thoughts :
I think it's great for the average person. They need to encourage more people to invest from an early age. So more education is needed along with this. Most people have not a clue. It's not great for wealthy people however as the limit is only 12k a year but I guess that's not their target investor. This is of course way too late too. This should have been introduced a long time ago so I don't know what they were even thinking.

It’s gambling not like putting your money in deposit .he talk about no tax ,well if your money looses money in its investment you don’t pay tax anyway but you do loose your money unlike a traditional deposit account .he is simply promoting people investing in the stock market which can be virile in a topsy turvy works where unstable presidents like say ,trump ,operate .so safe enough time to introduce such an investment .. NOT

We won’t invest not a hope. It’s an investment. What happens if a cyber attack. We already paid tax to save it. Who remembers loosing all their savings in shares. Including bank shares. It’s not a savings scheme it’s people investing your money

It won’t be available while using trade 212 or revolut as he mentioned the taxes will be carried out on your behalf by the companies involved so that means your banks, brokers, zurich, new Ireland assurance etc

The AMC will be between 1-1.25% and then you’ll be pay 1% over the threshold so if the fund goes to 100k the cost for that year is €500 for Gov taxes and then 1.25% for the platform at 100k so that’s €1250 that’s €1750 in charges that year. Would you trust these lads with your money ?
