Im a member of a RAC committee after completing my residency. I agree with most you said here. Research isn’t an end-all-be-all. If you can do it and get published that’s great! But work experience (either community or hospital pharmacy), leadership/involvement, and your grades matter the most! Also, when asking for letters of recommendation, be sure to ask for POSITIVE letters. I’ve read letters that are not positive 😳
