@anabelleyeaman: Christianity is officially in the hot seat 👀 We’re going to ask the hard questions, look at the evidence, go to Scripture, pray, and be honest about the places that require deeper study. Not to win arguments. Not to sound smarter. But to know why we believe what we believe and to be ready to point people to Jesus with truth, gentleness, and respect. Have a question you want me to put in the hot seat next? Drop it below or DM me with your question 🤍 #Jesus #Christian #Apologetics #Faith #Bible
John Lennox tackles these hard questions all the time. Highly recommend checking him out on the Veritas Forum.

My husband is Muslim and I’m diving deep into how to prove that Jesus went to the cross and came back to life instead of the lie of believing he’s just another prophet, would love to hear your thoughts about this

One of my greatest issues with my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ is the need to know everything. Also forgetting that some of the things we know about God we have not even seen them in the Bible, yet, therefore we can’t explain them because we are counselled by the Holy Spirit. They end up emotionally blackmailing people who ask difficult questions they don’t have answers to. For as long as we are carnal we can never fully know and understand God in His entirety. Never. And that is ok

I have been seeing alot of my Christian brethren who are much more knowledgeable than me say God has foreknowledge and before even creating us knew already who would make it to heaven and who would go to hell for eternity for rejecting him. I don't really think that's accurate imo and even though I don't have evidence, Here's my theory. God is all knowing, but the fact that he gave us free will to choose means he DOESN'T KNOW what we will choose, He simply knows the various outcomes that will originate from every possible choices we make. and the fact that He doesn't know the choices we would make at every given Instant doesn't make him LESS POWERFUL, it's just logical given we have choice! a great way i can explain this is the fact that we know nothing is impossible for God to do. But does that also mean God can do evil? Obviously not because it's just not his nature, but then does this make him any less God? So I think God knows the OUTCOME of every possible choices we make, but doesn't know what we would choose. What do y'all think?

Something I struggle with is why would God create us if he knew we would sin and knew not everyone would follow Him? What is the overall point? As a Christian I know it is to glorify Him. But my emotions ask “why bother with creating us at all if you knew the outcome? Is it worth the glory”

My sister is a believer and we were talking and she asked “Why do people say that Jesus is God?” , i didn’t know how to respond other than it says in the bible Jesus is God in the flesh, he is the son, one of three (God,Jesus, and the Holy Spirit)

One of the things I struggle with most in Christianity is the idea of hell.
I want to love God because of who He is,because He is my Creator and because He is worthy of love, not simply because I’m afraid of what will happen to me if I don’t believe. Sometimes the idea of “love God and believe, or face eternal punishment” makes me wonder whether fear is influencing my faith in a way that genuine love shouldn’t.
I also struggle with how hell fits with God’s foreknowledge. If God knows everything, including the ultimate outcome of every person’s life, why would He choose to bring someone into existence knowing that person will eventually spend eternity in hell?
For example, if I somehow knew with certainty that a child I was going to have would eventually experience eternal suffering, I don’t think I could bring that child into existence. So I struggle to understand how a perfectly loving God could knowingly create someone whose final destiny He already knows will be eternal suffering.
That’s why I find the idea of people ultimately ceasing to exist easier to understand. In that view, the final outcome would be eternal life with God or eventual nonexistence, rather than eternal life with God or eternal conscious suffering.
I’m not saying that this is necessarily what the Bible teaches. I’m trying to understand how Christians reconcile God’s love and foreknowledge with the idea of eternal hell, and whether eternal conscious torment is actually the only biblical way to understand final judgment.

What if someone is a genuinely good human being, volunteers, is kind, and acts like Jesus in many ways but doesn’t believe. Why are they not going to be accepted to Heaven?

I have so many friends that are gay but the most selfless, loving, kindest people. Why would God damn them to hell for all eternity to suffer for them living out their life the way God made them?

My question is if belief is important to God, why would he create me knowing I was never going to believe in him even before I was born? That strikes me as odd.

Christians often argue that you can’t get life from non-life which is how we were created. That there’s nothing on Earth that you see that doesn’t have a creator. What would you answer back when they say “then who created God?”

Many have asked my why God would allow so much pain? Why would he allow children to be hurt or be born with sicknesses? In the Bible it says we will experience trials and tribulations but how can you approach this question about murder sickness 🍇or even death

A big one I’ve been asked is why does God allow senseless suffering and tragedy if he is all-powerful and loving? How are things like deadly childhood diseases, horrible accidents, etc “worked for his good”?

One of my biggest challenges is there have been many religions before Christianity, such as Kemetism, Hellenism, Mana, and Tapu, that the people who followed them believed with their whole heart and mind to be true. Now in society we say they are myths and that the people didn’t know any better. How do we know that Christianity is not the same thing and in 1000 years it will evolve and become obsolete. How do we truly know that Christianity is the truth when there are so many other religions claiming the exact same thing?
