Motherhood is not easy, motherhood has humbled me in many ways possible . If you’re a mom and you’re reading this and you know anyone making it seem or telling you the motherhood is easy or it gets any easier than this, they’re lying to you. I hate to break it to you, but they’re lying to you. Motherhood is what you make out of it. Motherhood is not having a village or maybe having a village and still having to show up. There will be days when you go to bed telling yourself you can’t do it anymore, or you won’t be able to do it the following day, but somehow you manage to wake up and make it a better day than yesterday. Motherhood is sacrificing every single thing in you to be the best version of you as a mother. Motherhood can be very hard, but I do believe that if you married the right person, it won’t be as hard because they will lift up you up on your worst days. For example, there’s days where I don’t feel like doing laundry. I don’t have the time to cook, whatever the case may be. My husband will get off his second job and literally drive to get us dinner. that way I don’t have to worry about cooking and I can just take a shower instead of cooking for the night. That’s why it’s very important who you marry, because your husband is your village, your husband is your rock, your husband is everything. And if you choose the wrong person, you might as well get a divorce because you’re going to be doing it alone.

I saw that video and wondered if she truly didn’t know she would not get a break before she had her kid? I knew even before I got pregnant that I would not get any help from family and my husband works a lot so I knew he wasn’t going to stop working just to help. How did she not know?

I honestly feel like alot of mother's are like this bc their partners are not being parents. bc I have been overwhelmed but in serious situations like my child having a seizure

most parents now a days should have just accepted they are selfish and not have kids. being a good parent means putting your kids first and most just cant do that. ill never respect a shitty parent who chose to have kids
