So... As far as I was seeing, they weren't calling it a proship. Just said with Yae Mikos canon lore, and with how Ei views her, the ship just- doesn't click. gang Immortal x Immortal is fine I've even pointed this out myself, and even if Ei saw her grow up, you CAN still ship it, the point was, people who don't like the ship arent homophobic, just don't see it since lore suggest Ei sees her like a child or sum, ya'll can and are free to ship it, but it being a pro-ship wasn't the point, nor directly said. They just don't like it for canon lore reasons. Simple as that.
