Does he have a tongue tie as well? My dentist said if there’s a lip tie there is almost always a tongue tie, my daughter had both!!

I love how Titan has decided gummies are a MUST after appointments. He's so real.

After my tonsil removal at 2 I came home and demanded I eat a rotisserie chicken instead of the “broth and popsicle diet” so it really is so individualized recovery

My boy is VERY hyper, he had tonsils and adenoids removed and was fine seeming for two days after then days 3-6/7 hit him like a truck! The biggest thing is keeping him hydrated, bc their throat hurts they don’t want to swallow so it’s hard to keep

when my daughter had hers done she was back to normal within 4 days. I just kept giving her ice cream for her throat, the tonsils were what annoyed her the most. but honestly afterwards she ate better, wasnt as sick all the time, just much better all round xx

Tbh I’d take a whole week off of therapies/activities. As an ex-preschool teacher, I had kids gone for two days (including surgery day) and come back. I also had kids that were out for closer to a week

hi mama! my baby had his out right after his 3rd birthday. things I did that helped, pediasure, gives them calories while also getting him to drink! make sure you keep him hydrated with WHATEVER he will drink.

If he sees them weekly I’d say skip that week. And if he is his usual self go the next. Because schedule and routine 😁

Let me tell you the tonsil surgery was the WORST recovery. My daughter had her tonsils and adenoids removed at 4 cause she was constantly sick and has sleep apnea. Not to scare you but prepare you.

i’ve worked with some kids who got tonsils out and i’d say 2/3 days home is necessary cause it also messes with their eating and so their mood can be kinda up and down from that too
