@thisbykelsey: pumpkin cinnamon rolls with maple cream cheese frosting 🎃 pumpkin dough: 1/3 cup whole milk 2 tbsp unsalted butter 1/2 cup pumpkin puree 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp salt 1 egg 2 1/4 tsp yeast (1 packet) 2 2/3 cups flour filling: 6 tbsp softened butter 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 tbsp cinnamon 3/4 tsp allspice 1/4 tsp ginger 1/8 tsp cloves maple cream cheese frosting: 4oz softened cream cheese 2 tbsp softened butter 3 tbsp maple syrup 1 tbsp whole milk 2/3 cup powdered sugar 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice 1/2 tsp vanilla pinch of salt warm the milk and butter until melted. whisk together the pumpkin, sugar, cinnamon, and salt, then mix in the warm milk mixture, egg, and yeast. add the flour and knead for about 5 minutes. cover and let rise for about 2 hours, or until doubled. roll the dough into a 10x14-inch rectangle and spread with softened butter. mix the brown sugar and spices together and sprinkle evenly over top. roll tightly, cut into 10 rolls, and place in a greased baking dish. cover and let rise for another hour. bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes, until lightly golden. for the frosting, beat all ingredients together until smooth and creamy. spread over the warm cinnamon rolls and enjoy! 🤎 #fallbaking #cozyrecipes #comfortfood #cinnamonrolls #pumpkinseason
