@thynktech: KingKong’s robot, called Jumper, uses a crab style multi leg design with 22 tactile servos that allow it to walk, turn, jump and grasp objects. The 1.8 kilogram robot can jump at least 400 millimeters, carry objects weighing up to 1 kilogram and operate for approximately two hours on a charge. Rather than limiting Jumper to one task, KingKong is opening the platform to developers and creators who can modify its movements, structure and intelligence using open source tools.
