I have a 250 kW Duats generator from 2013. It underwent an overhaul, including replacing pistons, bearings, bearing mounts, intake and exhaust valves, and bushings. After starting the generator to run the wiring, a lot of white smoke started coming out of the exhaust. Is the smoke caused by diesel fuel mixed with water? Could the valve mounts be loose where the valves meet, or is there a difference that could be causing this smoke? For your information, the injectors were checked and are fine, and the diesel fuel lines were generally repaired without any problems. If you encounter a similar issue, please let me know; I would be grateful.
