@krislhughes: Homemade Chicken Gravy 🍗 Ingredients: • 1 cup juices and fat left from cooking well-seasoned chicken • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour • 1–2 cups chicken broth • 1 cup heavy cream • Salt & pepper, to taste Directions: 1. Add about 1 cup of the juices and fat from your cooked chicken to a saucepan or skillet. 2. Whisk in 2 tablespoons of flour until well combined. Try to work out most of the lumps—but a few little lumps are perfectly fine. They just make homemade gravy better! 3. Gradually add 1–2 cups of chicken broth, depending on how much gravy you want and how thick you like it. 4. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring frequently, and cook until the gravy begins to thicken. 5. Stir in about 1 cup of heavy cream and cook until everything is heated through and the gravy is smooth and creamy. 6. Taste and season with salt and pepper if needed. If your chicken was well seasoned, you may not need to add anything at all! TIP: Don’t throw away those chicken drippings—they’re what give this gravy SO much flavor! #recipes #dinner #EasyRecipes #DinnerIdeas #FoodLover
