To be real unless we’re all growing every fruit and vegetable ourselves, none of us knows every single thing our produce was exposed to before it got to the grocery store either. Make your own baby food if you want, buy the store bought if you want. Let’s just stop turning feeding our babies into another weird competition and shaming moms who are doing their best. 🥰

I DO sometimes give them store bought, like the puffs, and little teethers. I’m a full time working mom of 2 boys and they are easy to just hand them. But over 98% of the time they have the hand made foods!

ill get into both debates😭 obviously theres exceptions to both though. ive fed formula and breastmilk to my baby. and I hate fed is best. breast is best. I feel like that term not only makes formula feeding feel a type of way but also pumping moms. bc if breast wasnt best then why tf did I work my ass off with my blood sweat and tears to get my supply up? it diminishes the hard work they put into it by saying that. and yeah store bought will never be as good as home made but theres good cheap brands and unless youre gardening out back its the same as buying like beechnut or serenity kids imo

Agree but please if u can have a stash of baby food store bought, because realistically what if a natural disaster happens? And ur homemade food goes bad, can’t reheat etc.

Don’t fall for the rage bait! Fed is always best even when they are 6 months plus and also eating solids. That doesn’t just apply to infants. They have so many minimal ingredient baby foods in 2026. Making your food doesn’t get rid of all toxins anyway unless you have your own garden/farm! We do the best we can and that’s okay ❤️

Idk my baby eats store bought food and is in the 98th percentile for height and meets all his milestones early must not be that bad for them 👀 he also eats everything me and his dad eat too
