@betibuilt: nobody teaches you how a real project works in school. they give you one semester to finish a design with every value handed to you and then act surprised when you dont know what DD means. the hard part of being an EE isnt the design. its owning the same building for years, from a rough single line to stamping the plans to walking the site until the lights come on. heres the full project cycle we actually work in everyday in the MEP industry. this is the stuff firms expect you to know and school never touches. its not hard once someone shows you. it just never gets shown. it does on my IG page tho, follow so you dont miss the rest of the series. 👉 Click link in bio to learn the skills engineering firms are hiring for right now #electrical #engineering #student

Nobody thinks design development is 75% complete. DD is 50% unless they absolutely need a ton of information for pricing

Man, I wish our projects looked like that. SD's at 15%, two DD submittals at 35 and 65, a "pre-final" at "100%," final, corrected final, addenda... ugh
