They took him out via the sheriff I just don’t care bro what a lame way to go if he comes back I’m not even sure I’ll be hype. It’s just such a lame end to someone who is supposed to be this big character I just can’t bring myself to like it.

No, Lanterns is the best thing DC has done in 10 years, If you can make a show about a comic book character that brings in people who normally don’t care about comics and gets them invested, that’s a success. That’s exactly what Green Lantern needed after the 2011 movie fucked the character’s mainstream reputation so badly that it even contributed to the animated series getting canceled. Lanterns is a good starting point to rebuild the character with general audiences before going bigger with the cosmic stuff.

I really like it overall. The only real issue I have with the show is how Hal died. I don't even mind that he died, but the reason is just bad writing.

I love the fact that it’s called Lanterns, and not Green lanterns. Because that means future episodes can focus on the other colors not specifically green.

Something people are also missing is that by having Guy take over space that kind of explains how he’ll appear in the Mr. Miracle show… meaning, Guy might end up being the first hero to meet Darkseid.

While I do believe Hal was a hero throughout his tenure, there was a definite vibe shift from 06 to 16 that I would've liked to see something for. I'm sure it was Sinestro related but it portrayed 16 Hal in a weird light throughout the season they never truly touched on

I think the other thing is, the whole show we’re seeing a jaded Hal, the praise is boring to him. Basically he’s like a movie star with all the money and the fame looking to reclaim real purpose. John reminded him of that more hopeful and trusting version of himself. He was eventually reborn in Rushville, finding love and a normal life. ^ damn and all that just made me more mad at Kerry for what she did 😔😤

i like the optimism but we thought all of this in form of theories and especulation when the series came out and none of it became true. What i'm saying is that being scared and woried about GL future in DC is entirely warranted

I really liked the show but the finale had two parts I didn't like which are they just brushed over halls death like it was nothing no consequences for it and the fact they told us about Noah breaking sinestro out of prison instead of showing us but overall it's a really good show that got me interested in reading the comics since I never did

I feel like people are forgetting that the DCU just got rebooted 😭 like damn even marvel did the same thing when they first started out the MCU. There were a lot of people who didn't like the first few movies but it still setup the MCU.
