@duncanteacherdev: DAY 36! We gave Happy Hallways an upgrade! You can now set limits per destination and set schedules for your classes. Check it out at happyhallways.com
As an administrator, I’d love to have a layer where I could view the kids out in the hall from multiple teachers using the app.

Could you make an app where students can practice using a spinning combination lock? My students always get worried before transitioning to middle school because they don’t know how to use a combination lock. I have a couple that I let them practice with, but would love an app/website where they can all practice.

I really like this, but I think it’s also useful in an elementary school setting. Is there a way to set limits so kids can’t go 10 minutes before lunch and 20 minutes after lunch? Could that be done in the scheduling tab? Or is there a way to allow it to block a child from going out with a pop-up that says “only 10 minutes left to lunch, can you wait until then?“

I just wanted to say thank you for actually listening to teachers and responding to what they need. So many of the “helpful“ (and mandatory) programs that we are told to use have very obviously been designed by people who have never, EVER spoken to a classroom teacher. Thank you so much for helping make our jobs a little bit easier. May your traffic lights always be green! 🫶🏼

Please create a hexagon generator for hexagonal thinking connections. As a US history teacher it’s so helpful for students to make connections. For example how do grandfather clauses connect to the 15th amendment. Having the term on the front and definition on the back would be incredible!!

Could you add a code for students to create when they click on their name so they don’t use another students? More for higher grades

would there be a way for this to track students across different classes? for example, if the student had used a bathroom pass 1st, 2nd, and 3rd period, then in 4th period I can see that they've already made 3 trips to the bathroom and can decide whether or not to give them another trip into the hallway.

App idea: my students need to improve multiplication fluency. Do you think you could make an app that quizzes them for each fact set (4s, 5s, overall, etc.) which could also track their progress per fact set over time? Like a kid spends 2 mins doing their 6s. It shows them how many completed and percentage correct. Then, puts it in a bar graph format with the date they quizzed, plus more bar graphs for more dates?

Does this have the ability to have a “school view”, so you can limit two kids from separate classes together? Or see how many people are out campus wide that would be a game changer for small campuses!!!

One thing to add is if we could have multiple teachers on a team (8th Grade) and set restrictions to the total number of kids in a grade out at one time and even place restrictions to not let specific kids out at the same time.

I would love a quick visual way to keep track of who is done an assignment. I teach split grade math classes all day and it gets overwhelming to keep track of two classes who is done and who is still working. Even something as simple as they can click their name to turn it green? And the names could be grouped on their grade?

Ok. But why is this one so much better than the one my school pays for and requires me to use?

This is awesome! I teach high school science and my students love playing the NYT Connections game when we have spare time in class. Is it possible to build an app where I could group vocab terms and create a game like Connections?

You should make an app that won’t let kids click through tests

Elementary students with ASD, ADHD generally cannot determine the appropriate sensory input for the way their body or mind is feeling. Walks, heavy work, fidgets, sensory bins etc are all great options but- what if young student could describe how they are feeling to a site, and upon submitting how I feel, the app would provide 2-3 suggestions on ways to self-regulate .

Can you make a report for each student individually ? I’m thinking to show how many times they leave class and how long they’re gone
