@charlotteliving: This is one of my favorite Charlotte events of the year! The build your own boat competition is back at the US National Whitewater Center this Saturday, October 10th! Teams will build their own boats and race down the whitewater rapids. It is so fun and entertaining to watch. I love all the creativity behind the boats and of course watching the wipeouts. The competition runs 12–4pm, but get there early for a prime spot on the lawn as it’s a popular event. Then there’s by live music from 4–5:30pm. This is the perfect fall activity! #charlotte #usnationalwhitewatercenter #buildyourownboat #thingstodoincharlottenc
