@cookingwiththecummins: If you’re still standing over a skillet flipping bacon, try this! We cook our bacon in the oven on parchment paper, and it might be one of the easiest kitchen tricks. Lay the bacon out in a single layer, pop it in the oven, and let the oven do the work. The best part? Easy cleanup! Once everything cools, the parchment paper helps contain all that bacon grease instead of leaving you with a skillet to scrub. It’s especially great when you’re cooking a whole pack of bacon for breakfast or feeding a crowd. Simple tip, but one we use all the time! Are you Team Oven or Team Skillet for your bacon? #bacon #oven #cooking #breakfastideas
Bacon in the oven is very underrated. Love oven bacon!

Rack elevates bacon out of its own grease = less flavor. This is the way to do it. 💪

FLOPPY! Ethel, a friend’s cook, always had it floppy. GAH she’d fix it every single day in a cast iron in their small kitchen. So scrumptious! I’m going to have to try baking it. About once every quarter, I’ll fix a bacon club sammich and use a super hard fried egg. Save that grease to fix nuts and bolts for the holidays!!!

Just let the paper hang over and then there’s no grease on the pan

I agree with the baking rack. I still have one up in the cabinet with old bacon bits on it from yrs ago. I did hear that if you drop the temp a little, the fat renders better if you’re looking for really crispy. This is the best method though, no doubt about it.

Maybe a little crispier than you have but that looks great! I started putting mine in oven while it’s preheating to render the fat.

That was my go to method for years, and I still use it when cooking a whole pack. I switched to the air fryer for smaller batches and it is a solid way to cook bacon.
