@bomberdawg: Judge holds cop accessing Flock camera data on drivers location history was an unconstitutional search. What does this mean for the future of Flock cameras and the law? #flock #lawyersoftiktok
The idea that we have no reasonable expectation of privacy in public is literally insane

In Texas Bear county, too. Someone sued and won! Unconstitutional search and violation of the fourth!

text book drug interdiction stop..they have done that exact scenario since at least 1990. when I handled a drug dog, I was specifically trained on all of those what we call criminal indicators.. we didn't have the automated license plate reader but we ran tags just the same because the standing case law says you don't need probable cause to check a registration to see if it's valid or not. in my opinion this will get reversed. other courts in other circuits have also ruled the opposite.

this is why the government was meant to be kept small with a constitution that the government isn't allowed to change

Thank you for taking the time to both study this situation and to bring it to us. Gave me a little bit of hope.

The part that really gets me is they are creating a database of citizen's movements to create probable cause. It does seem that there's been more people arrested for abusing the system that is actually produced arrest that remove real "bad guys" off the street. 😂

I saw a video where a woman was listing the ways that flock cameras can help aid law enforcement. Would she be a flock defender?

I think this will get overturned in the Supreme Court. Solely because you have no reasonable expectation of privacy in public and it’s not tracking you on private property. Everybody knows that LPR exist now so you have no reasonable expectation of privacy and you know this technology exist so when you travel on the road, you know there is a chance that your plate would be captured.

The scary part seeing these at gun clubs and how long before police add a tag that the person uses their 2A rights. The cowards will be treating every speeding ticket get treated as high risk felony stop.
