To be honest, I’m not even totally sure that Jane Doe and those men knew truly what went on. All of them were under the influence. All of them are unreliable narrators. That’s why it’s a bad idea to mix substances with adult activities, and all of them chose to do that. I agree, I think there is significant room for doubt in her story, the turnaround the moment she was uninvited to the party was immediate. I think the only thing we can say for absolutely certainty is that every single person involved acted foolishly and without concern for the consequences of their actions.
