my meds weren’t working and my dr. kept dragging his feet about changing them. I had mentioned I was feeling suicidal many times but it was alway passive. one appointment I said if I went home that day I was going to kill myself. suddenly I’m in the psych ward with 2 new meds and actually being listened to.

In college our mental health department had an HUGE waiting list, but I bypassed that by having a panic attack in front of a professor and apparently, a call from them gets you to the front of the line lmfao

I’m sorry, I shouldn’t laugh. But this is perfect use of this sound 😂😂 coming from somebody who use to work front desk and do the scheduling for a psych office. Anytime somebody called and said this they got moved to same day appointment 😅

Walked in for a routine appointment, sent to an immediate evaluation, then sent to an emergency psychiatrist got diagnosed with Bipolar type 2 same day and started meds immediately
