I have mixed feelings. I like the jobs it will bring and the activities. But there is growing crime and lack of grocery stores and services for home owners, especially in the new area where I live.

I know we call Rancho city technically but it’s not it’s suburbia and this city needs to be cleaned up. Building a little section out of the whole big part of the city that’s new with small lots and oversize houses doesn’t make it big enough to support this complex it’s a waste of money money would roll in if you just cleaned up the west side of the freeway Rancho is Rancho. It’s not Sacramento.

Where is this going in at? It looks like that lot on Zinfandel across from the warehouses. They've been monkeying around with that lot for some time. And the neighborhood there will not be happy.

There are barely any jobs out here in rancho, most of us have to drive out to Folsom or farther to even have a job. The new housing that they are building, most of us can’t even afford or it’s for select people. Our town is dirty, unkept, and has no support for our people. Instead of wasting money on a downtown area they should try to update our existing city and support our community.

So who’s paying for it? Homeowners? Part of the reason me and my girlfriend chose Rancho was we liked how it didn’t have a downtown. This arena would be not even a mile from us, might be cool but golden 1 center isn’t far away
