watching you have such an easy postpartum after the first time is actually kind of healing to me too. my first it was so hard but you're having me feel like if I did do it again it wouldn't be so hard. is breastfeeding easier this time too? or are you doing formula again? 🤍

I truly believe this is because of not having an epidural. I didn’t have one with my one and only so I don’t have multiple deliveries to compare. But my recovery was amazing.

I wonder if any of it has to do with not having an epidural? Besides the length of bleeding and me having a episiotomy(that never really bothered me) my postpartum was very much like this and i didn’t have an epidural

My third I stopped bleeding completely at 1 week. A week later I start gushing blood. Nothing was wrong, just decided to finish bleeding

Don’t count on the bleeding being over 😅 I had basically completely stopped bleeding about 1 week pp to the point I wasn’t wearing pads and randomly started heavy bleeding out of nowhere one night. That lasted a day or so and the back to no bleeding for another few days. Woke up in the middle of the night to peeand was bleeding so bad I went to the ER. Luckily they determined I was completely fine and just was bleeding in the random waves. I am so glad to hear how much better you are feeling physically and mentally 🩷🩷

i had an episiotomy and epidural with my first delivery and neither with my second this year and i felt amazing after my nap and overly prepared bc i didn’t use half the stuff i got🤣

I had a VBAC this time & my recovery has also been just so different and better this time! But I will say please be sure to take it easy! Around 9 days pp I had felt totally fine & then I had an episode of really heavy bleeding. Essentially the wound where the placenta detached reopened and I had to go to the ER to make sure nothing was retained/left inside. Lots of people told me they had a similar experience with their 2nd baby.

I swear it’s these 2026 babies! 😂 FTM to my little guy who was born in July. 2nd degree tear but never used a peri bottle once. Used tucks and dermaplast the 1.5 days after that I was in the hospital and that was it. I will say my bleeding was annoying. There for 3-4 days, gone for a couple and then back again so don’t put away the diapers and large pads quite yet.

All of this!!! I just had my second last week and I had another first degree tear; but I bled for 7 weeks with my first and this time I’m almost done??? I pushed 40 mins with my first and less than 5 this time.. my epidurals failed both times, but I’m like how is the bleeding SOOOO much better???!

This is my second baby (born shortly after yours) as well & I was wearing a pad by day 3. Could have by day 2 but waited one more day. The poops also were nowhere as scary as the first kid 😂
